Rowland Arts Center
Through the RAC, our goal is to encourage the young people in our community to DREAM BIG and prepare them for success in their middle and high school years. Our staff invest their time and energy as mentors, seeking first to offer an environment of safety and trust, then working intentionally to have meaningful conversations with the students. Our mentors identify areas of need for the students- physical, emotional, academic, and work to develop plans and programs to help meet these needs.

Our Project Launch employability program has successfully trained 6 students over the last year who have gone on to get hired at other community businesses. The RAC recently became designated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization this year and we plan on investing more into the community. Our staff is working diligently on providing more programming for young women, expanding our after school mentoring program to include 7th & 8th grade students, and are actively looking for business partners to bolster our Project Launch program. The RAC is also looking to provide impact programming to address mental health issues in community youth and are currently working with a few community organizations to launch some programming within the next year.
