Who We Are

So many Lexingtonians think they must go to Court alone because they can't afford an attorney. We believe that results in injustice. That's why we offer sliding scale legal fees to low-to-moderate income Lexingtonians.

Micah Legal increases access to justice for Lexingtonians who make too much for free legal aid, but can't afford to pay $200 per hour for help. By reducing the number of people who go to Court alone, we make Lexington’s courts more efficient, and Lexington a more peaceful community.
