Friends & Vets Helping Pets

Friends & Vets Helping Pets funds lifesaving veterinary care for pets whose families are experiencing financial difficulty. We hope to solve the problem of families being forced, unnecessarily, to euthanize a pet solely because they can’t afford the unexpected cost to save its life. Friends & Vets Helping Pets, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, funds treatments for curable, lifesaving diseases and severe injuries such as tumors, broken bones, ambulatory care, expensive medication, special food, and post-surgical prosthetics. FVHP staff works with both the veterinarian and the family to provide pets with the necessary medical treatment so they can live out their lives at home.

We hear the same sad story too often. “The cost of lifesaving surgery/treatment is not something that we can afford. Without your help, we may lose our beloved family pet.” With your gifts, we can continue to help pets have happy endings. No donation is too large or too small. 100% of public donations go to help sick and injured pets. Please donate generously to help us help them!

Henry, "the sweetest kindest gentle giant" is a ten-year-old border collie mix diagnosed with a skin tumor during his routine wellness checkup. Surgery to remove the tumor will add quality and quantity of life and allow Henry to be his playful self again. Will you help? 

Give Kaylee a chance at life….

Kaylee is a loving six-year-old cocker spaniel, rescued from a puppy mill six months ago. While out playing, she collided with another family pet. Clearly in pain, the vet diagnosed her with a dislocated hip. To lead a full tail-wagging, ball chasing doggie life, Kaylee needs a procedure to replace a dislocated hip back into the socket. Prognosis with this procedure is fantastic. Can you help?

Help Max play ball again….

Max is a lively five-month-old Border Collie that slipped away from his dad and was hit by a car driven by an impaired driver. Sadly, Max can no longer play ball and chase with his human dad. He is unable to use his leg. A trip to his veterinarian showed a fractured femur. Max needs an expensive FHO surgery. His human dad is devastated that he cannot afford this unexpected injury. Can you help?
