Help Hope Take Root
This Giving Tuesday, Help Make Freedom Possible.
Every woman deserves the opportunity to heal from exploitation and choose a life of freedom.
For a woman who has survived human trafficking, freedom is about more than leaving an exploitative situation. It can mean having a safe place to live, receiving the support needed to heal, rebuilding trust, learning new skills, discovering her strengths and beginning to imagine a future she gets to choose.
At Refuge for Women Kentucky, we walk alongside survivors as they take those steps. Together, your Giving Tuesday gift helps provide the safe housing, support and community a survivor needs to rebuild her life—so give today and help make freedom possible.
Why Your Gift Matters
Hope doesn't grow overnight. Like a seed, it needs the right environment, consistent care and time to take root.
Your gift helps create that environment for women who are rebuilding their lives after exploitation. It helps provide a safe place to begin, space to heal, people who believe in her and opportunities to grow toward independence and freedom.
When you give, you aren't simply making a donation. You're helping create the conditions where hope can grow.

23,845 victims were involved in the 12,001 trafficking cases identified by the Hotline in 2024. Cases can involve multiple victims.
256 victims were involved in 139 human trafficking cases identified in Kentucky in 2024. The National Human Trafficking Hotline received 278 signals from Kentucky that year.
27.6 million people were estimated to be in situations of forced labor worldwide in 2021. Human trafficking can involve both commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor.
Human Trafficking Can and Does Happen Here.
Human trafficking isn't always what we see in movies. It doesn't always involve kidnapping or physical force. Traffickers may use manipulation, fraud, threats or other forms of coercion to exploit someone. And trafficking happens in communities across the United States—including right here in Kentucky.
That's why organizations like Refuge for Women Kentucky matter.
We believe a survivor's story shouldn't end with exploitation. There can be a next chapter. There can be healing. There can be hope. There can be freedom.
Because every woman deserves the opportunity to heal from exploitation and choose a life of freedom. Together, your Giving Tuesday gift helps provide the safe housing, support and community a survivor needs to rebuild her life.
Your gift can help hope take root.
Give Today. Help Make Freedom Possible.
