`They Need More Than a Home. They Need You.

At Scott County Humane Society, we don’t just take in the easy cases. We care for animals who come to us sick, injured, neglected and sometimes in need of extensive medical treatment before they can ever be ready for a new home.

And that care is expensive. Our veterinary bills average more than $6,500 every month.

But behind every vet bill is an animal who deserves a chance—to heal, to feel safe and ultimately to find a family of their own.

That’s at the heart of our mission: giving homeless and vulnerable animals the care they need and the second chances they deserve.

This Blue Grass Gives Day, your gift helps us keep saying YES when an animal needs us most.

We have a donor willing to match $6,500 which will pay for one month worth of vet bills. Can you help pay for the very sick who need that extra care? Will you help us give them that chance?
