Elevate Arts KY Inc.

Elevate Arts KY was founded in 2025 by internationally acclaimed tenor Gregory Turay with a mission to elevate the arts and strengthen the connections between artists, arts organizations, education, and the community.

We believe the arts have the power to bring people together, inspire creativity, expand opportunity, and strengthen the communities we call home. Through performance, education, outreach, collaboration, and community engagement, Elevate Arts KY works to support and amplify the extraordinary artistic resources already present in Lexington and throughout Central Kentucky.

A central part of that vision is bringing artists, arts organizations, educators, students, nonprofits, civic organizations, and the broader community together in new and meaningful ways. We want to create opportunities for organizations to collaborate rather than operate in isolation, for young people to experience and participate in the arts, for artists to create and perform, and for people from across our community to connect through shared experiences.

That vision has led to our most ambitious initiative, Elevate LEX, a new civic and cultural destination designed to bring arts, education, and community together under one roof.

Our goal is simple: elevate the arts, expand access and opportunity, and use the arts as a catalyst for a stronger, more connected community.
