With your help, we support victims of intimate partner violence as they establish safety, heal from trauma, and rebuild their lives as survivors.

Our main facility is situated on a beautiful 40-acre property in rural Fayette County. From this location and three other offices in our service area, we provide an array of crisis intervention and stabilization services:

+ 24-hour hotline
+ emergency shelter
+ legal advocacy
+ individual and group support
+ medical and dental treatment
+ budget and credit counseling
+ supportive housing services
+ transportation assistance

And we do this work in a special way. Survivors have the opportunity to be out in the fresh air on a beautiful 40-acre farm, growing flowers and fruits, vegetables and herbs while growing strong in body and mind. Eating food fresh from the garden improves physical health after abuse, and all adults who live in our shelter may choose to work on the farm in exchange for a small stipend and workplace training. We also offer other out-of-the-box activities like yoga and journaling to stretch and develop body and mind.

So, why do we do this work?

We believe every person has the right to live a safe, violence-free life. And that you want to live in a community where intimate partner abuse doesn't happen. Serving 17 Kentucky counties: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Franklin, Garrard, Harrison, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Nicholas, Powell, Scott, and Woodford County.
