God's Pantry Food Bank

At God's Pantry Food Bank, our mission is to reduce hunger in Kentucky through community cooperation making the best possible use of all available resources. Through our network of nearly 400 partner pantries and food programs, we were able to gather and distribute enough food to create more than 28.7 million meals last year for children, seniors, and families in Central and Eastern Kentucky.

Last year, God's Pantry Food Bank impacted the lives of more than 190,000 individuals in 50 counties of Central and Eastern Kentucky, through nearly 400 partner agencies and food programs. We distributed more than 34.4 million pounds of food and grocery products through these shelters, pantries, and youth and adult programs.

These agencies and programs impact seniors through supplemental commodity food boxes, provide backpacks of food to kids who need something to eat on the weekends while out of school, furnish grocery products to families for making home-cooked meals, and supply food to shelters to help feed the homeless and abused.
Volunteers are needed in our warehouse on Jaggie Fox Way every Tuesday from 5 pm - 8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am -12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm. We also provide corporate volunteer opportunities during the week. Visit https://godspantry.org/get-involved/volunteer/ for more about our volunteer opportunities and to register!
