Partners in Education of Clark County

Mission: To enhance the quality of instructional services provided to students through the use of school volunteers, partners and sponsors.

We are always striving to grow our outreach by recruiting more community partners and individual volunteers. Partners can be civic organizations, churches, small businesses and local industry. So far this year we have added 2 new community parters. Last school year, our 19 partners provided 125 volunteers in grades K-8. We expanded two of our programs, Be A Man(BAM) and Girls Learning from Other Women(GLOW) to the Phoenix Academy and we hope to add these programs to the high school this year.  

Our volunteer model for mentoring is having a volunteer mentor a student for 1 hour/week from late Sep till mid-April.
