OperaLex, Inc.'s mission is to support the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre by promoting exceptional productions, advancing opera education, and inspiring a love of opera throughout our community.

University of Kentucky Opera Theatre is one of the region’s leading training grounds for emerging vocal artists. UK Opera Theatre gives talented students the opportunity to develop their artistry through exceptional training and ambitious, professional-quality productions.

OperaLex helps make those opportunities possible. Through the generosity of our members, donors, and community partners, we provide support for student scholarships, productions, costumes and sets, educational programs, and other resources that enrich the student experience. Our support helps young artists grow from promising students into confident performers, while bringing outstanding opera and musical experiences to audiences throughout Central Kentucky.
