Honor the Legacy. Invest in What’s Next.
For 45 years, the Kappa Tau chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has represented achievement, brotherhood, scholarship, and service. Through the Kappa Tau Alumni Association, we are carrying that legacy forward by helping deserving students gain access to higher education, mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities to lead.
We have already established a $50,000 endowed scholarship fund through the University of Kentucky Alumni Association. That endowment was not the finish line—it was the foundation for something greater.
This fall, KTAA plans to award two $4,500 Legacy Scholarships—a total investment of $9,000 in the next generation. One scholarship will recognize an outstanding University of Kentucky undergraduate who demonstrates academic excellence, leadership, and service. The second will support a deserving graduating high school senior from the Black Male Working Academy as he begins his college journey, accompanied by intentional mentorship and encouragement.
These scholarships are about more than paying tuition. They are about removing barriers, affirming potential, and ensuring that promising students know they do not have to walk their journey alone.
