Organic Association of Kentucky

Across Kentucky, there are farmers who chose healthy ecosystems and healthy communities, building soil, growing on farm resilience, and producing food for our communities, betting their livelihoods on the idea that how we farm matters as much as what we farm. The Organic Association of Kentucky exists because that choice shouldn't have to be made alone.

We're the people farmers call when they need organic production technical assistance. We're the ones who organize Kentucky's only Organic Farming Conference every January, filling a conference center with growers trading hard-won knowledge instead of guarding it. We're behind market development innovations and advocacy campaigns that create greater opportunities for family farms and organic operations. We're supporting farmer networks that turn isolation into community, and the everyday work of making sure the people who grow our food can actually make a living doing it. Your gift doesn't just support an organization, it supports the farmer down the road who's innovating and farming for the long-haul, and the kids at the farmers market who get to grow up eating real food because someone believed regenerative agriculture was worth fighting for.
